A few day ago, I somehow find myself in a yard sale and found a Monster High doll. She was in such a horrible condition that the owner gave her to me for a dollar

Her legs, arms, and head are in pieces. Her makeup is scratch out and strained. Her hair was a bird nest

i'm not sure but I think her previous owner might have been too young or something.
But it doesn't matter.
I've been wanting to paint a Monster High doll and this is a good opportunity to try and see if I actually
can paint.
The paint part I have some confidence but the fixing her body up part... ahahaa....
Maybe I should change the challenge into just fixing the makeup xD

UpdateFirst day of challenge:
I was cleaning up her parts but got a little excited and start to paint her. I learn a few thing from this... anyway there are stain mark on her face that I'm not sure if i can fix

Second day:
I finish the makeup and it was an Epic failure! XD
I was too lazy to research and drive straight into the
unknown. The stain on her face didn't really help either but now that I know what to and what not to do, next time I won't fail so miserably.
The wig I got her look weird on her, plus it doesn't fit correctly. So I have to wait for a new one to come in.

Third day:
I bath her head in Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner and wipe her clean as I could. I think I might just paint her makeup again and worries about how to fix her body later, cause I like to procrastinate sooo much. If anyone have suggestion on how to fix her body up, feel free to shout it out

Day Four:
yay Memorial Day! I didn't get to work on her until today due to personal issues. Anyway, I finally got to fix her body up a little. After I
horribly sand her broken leg to get rid of stain and make teeth marks less noticeable, I cut part of the hip joint to pop her leg back in. I contemplate of supergluing the leg in, but decided against it since I see no gain in doing so.
She can't stand properly without the support of a doll stand and up close, marks of her past is still quite visible, but she can lean on thing, sit, wear clothes, and I can photography her. Plus, that leg of her is now seamless! What more can I ask for from a $1 doll. ヽ(◕ヮ◕)ノ~♪

Trying to get as much done today as I can!
It's not finish but I'm done for the day =.=

Fifth Day:
I didn't get to work much on her this week due to my sudden desire to doodle

but her wig arrive! It's not what I was hoping for, but it's manageable.
I think I should come up with a name for her since she's sort of complete. I just need to repaint her again.

Sixth Day:
I finally properly finish Ariel! Plus, I got a name for her! XD
I'm getting the hang of painting monster high doll. Now that I'm more experience at it, I really look forward in repainting Ariel again! ^^ It'll be much more relaxing next time

Final Update:
Long time since I updated this page ~.~
Her eyelash and dress arrive!
I already repaint her makeup again but I still dislike it lol I probably wont ever be satisfy as long as I'm the one painting her

She came a long way from day one. Though, she's not perfect, but I'm pleased with how far she came ;]
